Have you considered getting more involved with the Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences (CSPS)? Here’s your chance! CSPS is looking for members to serve on the Board of Directors.
Expectations/Time Commitment for Board Members
- Must be a current member
- Attend four board meetings per year (approx. 1.5 hours each, held virtually)
In order to grow the Society, Board Members may be asked to assist with the following tasks:
- Provide content for the website, social media and newsletters – example: link(s) to interesting papers or articles, job postings, career tips, etc.
- Participate on the CSPS Symposium Organizing Committee
- Moderate a webinar or Coffee Chat (virtual)
- Promote and attend CSPS events
- Total annual time commitment: approx. 10 hours
You are invited to submit nominations for candidates to serve on the CSPS Board for the following positions (terms to commence January 2022):
- President-Elect (1 position): 2-year term
- Secretary (1 position): 2-year term
- Treasurer (1 position): 2-year term
- Director (3 positions): 3-year term
- Trainee Rep (1 position): 2-year term
Nominees must be members of CSPS. If not current CSPS member, nominee must agree to become member if elected
